IC 7100 Performance Pro Series
International Coatings’™ new 7100 Performance Pro™ Series allows printers to print on a variety of todays' popular performance fabrics, including 100%
Polyester, Poly-blends, moisture management, and stretch fabrics.
7100 Performance Pro™ Series was specifically designed in response to customer demand for an ultra low bleed, non-phthalate, low cure ink that could be printed
on performance fabrics and other sports-related garments.
There are many new fabrics on the market today that incorporate both polyester and Lycra spandex. Printing on these fabrics can be a challenge. Now with the new 7100 series International Coatings’ is making it easier for you.
International Coatings’ 7100 Performance Pro, which have been specifically formulated for these next-generation performance fabrics. These inks have great stretchability and allow for lower curing temperatures (275°F). The ability to cure at lower temperatures helps to control any potential dye migration issues.

Application & Storage Information
Cotton/Polyester blends, 100% Polyester, Polyester/Stretchable Fabric
Blends, other synthetic performance fabric blends. Always test print fabric
for possible dye migration before beginning a production run.
7100 Series should be used straight from the container without any modifications.
Stir well before use. If thinning is required use 1% - 5% by
weight 1099 LB Curable Reducer. Using reducers or additives may lower
the bleed resistance, opacity and/or stretch.
SCREEN MESH AND EMULSION
Use 60-305 t/in or 24-120 t/cm monofilament.
Any direct or indirect emulsion or capillary film in the 35 to 70 micron
range, for best results. Lower mesh counts recommended.
SQUEEGEE 65-70 Durometer: Sharp Edge
275°F to 300°F (140°C to 149°C) entire ink film.
Test dryer temperatures and wash test printed product before and during
a production run.
CLEAN-UP Any environmentally friendly plastisol screen wash.
STORAGE OF INK CONTAINERS
Recommend storage at 65°F to 90°F (18°C to 32°C). Avoid storage in
direct sunlight. Keep containers well sealed. See below for special instructions.
Refer to material safety data sheet MSDS8.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON STORAGE:
The fact that 7100 Series is a low fusing plastisol makes this product extremely sensitive to heat. If ink is left open and
exposed to the average room temperature of a typical screen printing production floor for more than 12 hours, its shelf
life may be greatly shortened. The tendency will be for this product to thicken or semi-gel if left in a screen or uncovered
in the container over several days. For this reason it is vital that all unused ink be returned to the bucket and the
lid be completely sealed. It is also important that ink containers be stored in an area of the shop floor that has the
lowest temperatures. Following both of these directions will greatly enhance the shelf life of this product.
7100 Performance Pro Series is a low fusing (low curing) plastisol. The recommended minimum cure temperature
is 285°F (140° C). Although a minimum of 60 seconds is recommended, the time required for the ink to become
completely fused will vary depending on the type of dryer used. It is important to ensure that the ink is completely
cured/fused before beginning production. Wash testing is recommended.
The use of additives such as stretch or reducers with 7100 series may inhibit the low bleed and/or low fusing
characteristics of this product.
Always test print the fabric to be used before beginning production to see if the desired performance is obtained.
Wait at least 24 hours, longer if possible.
