Mclogan DTF Powders does not contain phenol, chlorophenols, or plasticizers(phtalates) and complies with Oeko-Tex 100 class 1.
Other PU-based powders do contain phthalates and tin which cause material (residue) to build up in DTF & screen powder equipment.
Mclogan DTF Powder has zero clumps and static, users can set their powder equipment on the lowest feed rate due to this. It will also wash better than other PU powders which improves your end users' products. Also, our powders leave a soft hand and great stretchability. The melting point is generally lower at 105C -118C than other PU’s. Another big factor is the heat press setting can be 280F to 330F for 8 to 10 seconds which allows it to be used on a wide variety of fabrics/textiles. Mclogan DTF Powder is produced in Germany by a Swiss company.
The consistency/quality of our Mclogan DTF Powder is a big factor when people compare to the Chinese or Fixatti PU powders. Also, the Chinese claim they are Oeko-Tex certified but often it is misinformation. They have a “restricted chemical letter” but that is not a legit Oeko-Tex certificate like we have.
