1. Prep Your Surface & Pre-Squeegee Your UV-DTF
Prep the AreaWhen needed, clean the surface of your item using soap and water or a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water. A clean surface helps the UV-DTF last longer against the elements, washing, and everyday wear. While the decal will still adhere without this step, prepping is strongly recommended.

Pre-Squeegee
After cutting out your sticker/decal, place it face down with the white backing facing up. Using the padded end of the included squeegee, apply firm pressure and run over the entire design 2–4 times. For thin or separated elements—like small text—use extra pressure and a few additional passes.

2. Prepare Your UV-DTF for Transfer
Slowly peel the two layers apart, watching closely to ensure the entire design lifts onto the top carrier sheet. In the Dojo, we say: “Don’t peel with your hands—peel with your eyes.”For designs with thin lines or small separate elements, peel even slower. If any part doesn’t lift, re-squeegee from the back and try again, peeling from a different angle. You’ll develop a feel for this step with practice.

3. Positioning Your UV-DTF 
First, identify exactly where you want the design to go.Smaller designs (4" and under): Place the design carefully using two hands for better control.Larger designs (6" and up): It may be easier to start placing from one side and work your way across. This helps maintain alignment, reduce bubbles, and prevent the carrier sheet from wrinkling—avoiding misaligned or overlapping elements.

Pro Tip: Leave one corner of the carrier sheet unpressed to make peeling easier.

4. Completing the Transfer
Once the design is placed, firmly squeegee over it 2–4 times. Peel the carrier sheet slowly, watching closely to ensure every element sticks. Remember the Dojo lesson again—use your eyes as you peel.If any part doesn’t adhere, lay the carrier sheet back down, re-squeegee, and peel from a different angle.
