Durable Heat-Activated Bonding for Patches and Emblems
E-Zee Heat Seal 4220 is a transparent, 5 mil double-sided adhesive film made from nylon (polyamide). Engineered for high-performance bonding, it features heat-activated adhesive on both sides and a special release paper for easy pressing and handling. This versatile heat seal is ideal for permanently attaching patches, badges, and emblems to garments, caps, and other fabric surfaces.
Known for its strong adhesion to a variety of fabrics—including acetate, silk, cotton, rayon, and wool—it offers exceptional resistance to dry cleaning and washing, making it a top choice for durable applications.

Permanent fabric-to-fabric bonding
Temperature: 320°F to 392°F (160°C to 200°C)
Dwell Time: 20–30 seconds
Pressure: 2.5 to 4.2 Bar (40–60 psi)
Hoop fabric, crinoline, or stabilizer and complete embroidery.
Remove from hoop and position a piece of E-Zee Heat Seal on the back of the embroidery, with the release paper facing up.
Using a heat press or iron, bond the film to the fabric (refer to heat chart above).
Allow to cool, then peel off the release paper.
Trim to shape with scissors or a die cutter.
Finish edges with a serger or a zigzag stitch on a sewing machine.
