E-Zee Cap® Tear Away embroidery stabilizers are designed specifically to fit cap frames and are easy to tear, making them ideal for structured caps hooped on round frames. These stabilizers provide essential support during the embroidery process, ensuring that little to no excess stabilizer remains after tearing. Available in white, with some options in black, they create a smooth surface for clean and crisp designs.

For challenging caps, using two layers of stabilizer can enhance stability during embroidery. To improve the hooping process, steaming the center seam before hooping can help flatten it, making it easier to achieve a snug fit. A sharp-point needle is recommended for woven caps, and using a titanium or #80/12 standard eye needle can help prevent needle breaks.

When digitizing designs for caps, it's best to stitch from the center out and from the bottom to the top, which minimizes “flagging” or fabric folding during embroidery. In some cases, underlay may be needed to manage difficult fabrics effectively. Always digitize designs in sections for improved alignment. The weight of the cap embroidery stabilizer required will depend on the fabric type and the size of the design.
