E-Zee Cut® Hefty 2.0 oz. is a medium-weight cut away embroidery stabilizer designed to provide strong, long-lasting support when embroidering on knit, stretchy, and unstable fabrics. This high-quality backing features a lofty, soft hand, making it ideal for garments where comfort and durability are important.
Engineered to hoop easily and maintain stability during stitching, E-Zee Cut® Hefty helps produce clean, well-defined embroidery designs, even with medium stitch counts and medium-density designs. Because the stabilizer remains behind the embroidery after trimming, it continues to support the design through repeated washing and wear, helping maintain shape and stitch clarity over time.

Recommended For
How to Use

Cut a piece from the roll large enough to fit your hoop size.

Place the stabilizer underneath the garment and hoop together.

Embroider the design.

Remove the garment from the hoop and trim away the excess stabilizer using sharp scissors or shears, leaving approximately ¼ inch around the design.

Round the corners of the remaining stabilizer to help prevent curling after washing.
Helpful Tip
To avoid cutting into the fabric while trimming, hold the stabilizer firmly and allow the garment to drape downward. Position the fabric so you can clearly see both the edge of the design and the fabric while trimming the excess backing.
