The Jenson's Swirly Q brush is specifically crafted for scroll striping and script lettering with enamel-based paints. For best results, use thinned enamel for smoother flow during intricate striping. Instead of mineral spirits, which may cause paint to run, I recommend a slow-drying automotive reducer, easily available at your local autobody supply store. Thoroughly clean the brush with reducer before and after each use, and avoid using lacquer thinner, as it can damage the brush. Always store the brush in mineral oil between uses to maintain its longevity.

Both sizes of the Swirly Q brush have the same diameter. The JS-1 features a 1 7/16" bristle length, while the JS-2 has a 1 11/16" bristle length.
