Dux Quick-Dry Gold Leaf Size/Adhesive

Quick Set Gold Leaf Size is a fast-acting, oil-based gilding adhesive formulated for applying all types of metal leaf to a wide range of surfaces. Designed for efficiency, it reaches proper tack in approximately 1–2 hours and remains tacky for an additional 1–2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity conditions.

This size is ideal for small projects, tight timelines, or production environments where speed is essential. It provides reliable adhesion and smooth laydown for consistent, professional gilding results on wood, metal, glass, and other properly prepared substrates.

For added flexibility, Quick Set Gold Leaf Size can be blended with Slow Set Size to extend working time. A 1:1 mixture, for example, will reach tack in about 3 hours and remain open for a similar duration, allowing decorators to fine-tune tack time to suit specific project needs.
