SPOT FLASHING: When spot drying with 3805 Super Stretch Clear, expect a low after flash tack, facilitating efficient spot drying. Optimal dwell time varies depending on the spot dryer utilized. Adjust heat settings as excessive heat may induce tackiness. Spot drying entails partial fusion of the ink surface, achieving a touch-dry state without complete fusion to prevent inter-coat adhesion issues. Final curing should be completed in the dryer.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Use 3805 Super Stretch Clear directly from the container without any modifications.
For stretch fabrics like Lycra/Spandex or 100% cotton knitted rib material, utilize 3805 Super Stretch Clear as a base before printing regular plastisol inks atop it.
As an additive, incorporate 10% to 25% of 3805 Super Stretch Clear to enhance the stretch and elongation characteristics of any plastisol ink. Exceeding 25% may compromise color strength and opacity. Note that 3805 Super Stretch Clear is not formulated as a low bleed product; therefore, preprint testing is advised to assess potential dye migration or bleeding, which might not manifest immediately.
For a glossy wet appearance, 3805 Super Stretch Clear can be applied as a final overprint. Conduct thorough dryer temperature and wash tests throughout production for quality assurance.
