Dark Inkjet Transfer Paper
Mclogan Opaque represents premium quality heat transfer paper for inkjet printers. Mclogan Opaque heat transfer paper is specifically manufactured to be used on dark and brightly colored fabrics as well as leather and mousepad applications.
Mclogan Opaque is highly recommended for desktop inkjet, and wide format inkjet printers. This product performs well when sheet fed, roll-fed, heat pressed and peeled cold. While some users have used this application in ways other than those mentioned above, it is not recommended. For dark fabrics is the best product for photo-quality prints on cotton and cotton blend and some synthetic fabrics. This product can be die cut or kiss cut and moved with tape. Optimize Your Heat Transfer Process with the Following Instructions:
Printing Instructions:
- Print the image on the coated side of the paper in the right reading orientation (avoid mirroring the image).
- Trim away the unprinted areas of the transfer.
Pre-Transferring Instructions:
- Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of wrinkles to prepare for the transfer process.
Transferring Instructions:
- Remove the backing paper from the printed image.
- Place the Heat Transfer Paper onto the garment with the image facing up (right reading to you).
- Completely cover the image with an ironing sheet.
- Add a piece of PTFE or a spare material over the ironing sheet for additional protection.
- Press: Apply medium pressure for 30 seconds at 350°F.
- Once cooled, peel away the ironing sheet in a smooth, even motion.
