Demo TrueVIS MG Series UV Printer/Cutter
Print vivid, detailed UV graphics and contour cut them with one machine. The TrueVIS MG Series combines built-in UV-LED curing, flexible ink options, and Roland print-and-cut production in 30-inch and 64-inch models.

Expand what your shop can produce
The MG Series brings full-color UV printing and precise contour cutting together for graphics on compatible roll media. UV-LED lamps cure the ink during printing, making it practical to move printed work into cutting and finishing workflows promptly, subject to the requirements of the media and application.
Use the series for labels, decals, window graphics, promotional signs, package prototypes, wall graphics, and specialty finishes. The MG-300 suits narrower production spaces; the MG-640 provides more width and roll capacity for larger graphics. Both are roll-fed printer/cutters, so rigid-object or flatbed printing should not be assumed.
Applications and creative options
Print detailed artwork and contour cut custom shapes for products, promotions, and equipment.
Create transparent-media graphics; an opaque white layer requires an installed White ink channel.
Produce promotional graphics and larger displays on UV-compatible flexible media.
Make short-run printed labels and suitable packaging mockups; semi-rigid card stock may require an optional extension table.
Print custom decor on suitable materials, with finishing and certification requirements checked for the installation.
Use compatible Gloss ink for layered highlights or tactile finishes if that channel is installed.
Available applications depend on the actual ink channels, material compatibility, artwork setup, firmware, and condition of the demo unit. Media, finishing supplies, and optional hardware are separate unless McLogan confirms they are included.
Color and specialty inks
MG Series machines support several ink configurations. Every configuration is based on CMYK; depending on the installed setup, additional channels can include White for opaque layers, Gloss for spot coatings and texture, Red and Orange for expanded color, or Primer for selected materials. Certain shrink-ink configurations are also supported.
For this demo: An ink being available for the MG Series does not mean it is installed in the unit for sale. Ask McLogan for the installed cartridge list and a recent sample of any White, Gloss, Primer, or specialty effect you plan to use.
Production features
- Integrated contour cutting: Print and cut graphics in one device, including custom shapes and compatible perforated-cut workflows.
- Built-in UV-LED curing: Cure compatible ECO-UV ink during printing and create layered effects where the installed inks and media support them.
- Flexible production: Move between individual jobs and longer runs. An optional take-up system may help with unattended roll production if present.
- VersaWorks: Roland's current MG datasheet lists VersaWorks 7 with RIP, layout, color, and print-and-cut tools. Check the supported version and available license for the demo machine.
- Roland DG Connect: Compatible monitoring features can help track machine and job information, subject to account access.
Supported firmware and VersaWorks versions can enable one-pass multilayer printing on MG Series machines. Confirm the firmware, software, and chosen ink configuration if this feature matters for your work.
