Kern DPH-02 Pyramid Holographic DTF Film — Structured 3D Hologram

Standard holographic DTF gives you a flat rainbow shimmer that looks the same from every angle. Kern's DPH-02 is built with a micro-pyramid pattern instead of a flat surface, so light scatters in multiple directions at once — the shimmer actually shifts and moves as the wearer moves, instead of sitting flat on the fabric. It reads as dimensional in a way flat holographic film can't match, especially under stage lighting or on camera.

Like Kern's other specialty films, the pyramid pattern is bonded into the coating layer at the factory rather than applied as a foil on top, so it won't crack or peel the way foil-based holographic transfers do. It's rated for 50 wash cycles, and presses in a single pass — no second press required to lock in the effect, which keeps production moving on busier runs.

Heat press settings: 300–320°F, 10–15 seconds, medium-heavy pressure, cold peel — let it cool fully before peeling for a clean release. Optional 5-second finishing press with parchment/Teflon after peel for extra durability.

Works with: Brother GTXpro, Epson F2270/F570, Procolored, Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20D, Mimaki TxF series, and any standard 13–24in+ DTF printer. No specialty inks needed — runs on standard CMYK+White DTF ink and TPU powder.
