E-Zee BodyBuilder Hard is a firm 3mm 3D embroidery foam designed to create bold, raised embroidery with a rigid, dimensional appearance. It's an excellent choice for caps, jackets, bags, aprons, lettering, monograms, and other stable fabrics.

For proper foam coverage, 3D embroidery designs should be specifically digitized for use with foam and typically require increased stitch density.

How to Use

For best results, insert a stop in your embroidery design after the flat embroidery is completed and before beginning the 3D portion.

1. Cut a piece of E-Zee BodyBuilder Hard large enough to cover the area where the 3D embroidery will be stitched.
2. When the machine stops, place the foam over the embroidery area inside the hoop.
3. Secure the edges with tape or a light application of spray adhesive.
4. Continue stitching the 3D portion of the design.
5. Once stitching is complete, tear away the excess foam.
6. Use tweezers to remove any small pieces remaining around the embroidery.
7. Small exposed pieces can be carefully pushed into the design with a pointed tool.

A heat gun may also be used carefully to help shrink small exposed pieces of foam into the finished embroidery. Use caution when applying heat to avoid damaging the thread, garment, or surrounding material.
