E-Zee Cap® Supreme 2.5 oz. is a premium medium-weight tear-away embroidery stabilizer specifically designed for use with cap frames. Pre-cut to a convenient 4.5" x 7" size, it provides reliable support and consistent tension for clean, crisp, professional cap embroidery.

Designed to maintain stability throughout the stitching process, E-Zee Cap Supreme helps improve registration and definition, even when running detailed designs and small lettering down to 2.5mm. The stabilizer performs smoothly at high stitch speeds and tears away cleanly after embroidery with minimal residue.

For small to medium designs on low-profile caps, a single piece provides dependable support. For larger designs or high-profile caps, two pieces can be used for additional stability.

The black backing is especially well suited for black and dark-colored caps, helping the remaining stabilizer blend more naturally with the finished garment.

Helpful Embroidery Tips

For the best results, use artwork that has been properly digitized specifically for cap embroidery. Designs should generally stitch from the center outward and from the brim upward to help minimize shifting and distortion.

Keep the entire design within the designated sewing area of the cap and frame. Most caps perform best with a sharp embroidery needle. If needle breaks occur, check your hooping technique and make sure the cap is securely positioned as close to the needle plate as possible.

For additional stability, a longer piece of backing that covers approximately two-thirds of the cap may improve hooping and help reduce flagging. Proper underlay stitches and selecting caps that are compatible with your embroidery machine can also improve overall stitch quality.
