Create More With UV Print and Cut
The Roland TrueVIS MG2 Series helps print shops turn everyday graphics into work with more visual impact. Combine detailed color and integrated contour cutting to produce decals, labels, window graphics, packaging prototypes, and retail displays on compatible roll media.
With the right ink configuration, the MG2 can print up to five layers in a single pass. Build White underprints, spot gloss, and textured effects without reversing the media between layers. That keeps complex graphics aligned and gives your shop more ways to offer premium finishes efficiently.
See What the MG2 Can Create
From individual decals to large-format displays, the TrueVIS MG2 Series helps you produce colorful, finished graphics for a wide range of customers and projects.

Print and Cut in One Workflow
Print a design, then contour cut it on the same MG2 printer/cutter. Create shaped stickers, product labels, retail graphics, and short-run packaging samples without a separate cutting step or custom dies.

Build More Into Every Print
With the right ink configuration, the MG2 Series can print up to five ink layers in one pass. Combining color with White and Gloss lets you add opacity, depth, and specialty finishes without feeding the media backward between layers. That means less handling and more consistent alignment on complex graphics.
Create graphics viewed from both sides of a window, clear decals with White underprints, or designs with spot gloss and textured accents. The effects available depend on your ink configuration and the media you choose.

Color and Finishes That Open New Possibilities
UV-LED ink cures during printing on compatible roll media, so graphics can move into cutting and finishing promptly. The MG2 gives you a way to add specialty effects to practical jobs such as labels, window films, and retail displays.
Available ink configurations let you choose the capabilities that matter to your shop. Red and Orange expand your color options, while White and Gloss support opaque underprints, shine, and texture.
Pair your ink setup with the right media to produce premium decals, layered window graphics, packaging mockups, and other custom work your customers can see and feel.

Spend Less Time on Setup
The MG2 Series helps operators move from file to finished print with automated media calibration, Direct Print controls, and an integrated take-up unit. A 7-inch touchscreen makes settings easy to access, while automated maintenance helps keep the printer ready for the next job.
Whether you’re producing one custom graphic or managing several jobs in a day, these features reduce routine hands-on steps so your team can spend more time producing customer work.

Keep Ink Changes and Costs in Check
The MG2 uses 1,000 ml UV ink pouches, allowing longer runs with fewer ink changes. Roland estimates that these pouches can reduce ink running costs by up to 40% compared with its previous 500 ml configurations. Actual savings will depend on your ink setup and production mix.
Print short runs as orders arrive, adjust designs between jobs, and add White or Gloss effects where they bring value. This flexibility helps you match production to customer demand without keeping large quantities of finished graphics on hand.
Powerful Software Included
From job setup and color control to printer monitoring and performance tracking, the TrueVis MG2 Series includes software tools that help print professionals manage UV print production with greater visibility and confidence.
